Michael Patrick Nolan, Baron Nolan, PC, is a retired judge in the United Kingdom. He served as a Law Lord. Lord Nolan chaired the Committee on Standards in Public Life, set up in the UK by John Major's government after the cash-for-questions affair, and has conducted numerous other inquiries. He was Chancellor of the University of Essex from 1997 to 2003.
