- A gait is a particular way or manner of moving on foot: walking and running are the two basic human gaits; see also gait analysis and gait (human).
- An animal's gait is a conformation point in animal fancy. See horses's gait; dog gait.
- GAIT stands for GSM-ANSI Interoperability Team, which developed a standard (also known as GAIT) to allow cross-operation of wireless telephone technologies.
