Shayki is a small sect of Shi'ih Islam based on the teachings of Shaikh Ahmad-i-Ahsa'i and his successor Siyyed Kazim-i-Rashti who taught that the coming of the promised Mahdi (also known as Qa'im) was imminent (around 1844 A.D., 1260 A.H.) and enjoined their disciples to look for him.Template:Islam-stub
