"Gentlemen, Be Seated!" is a science fiction short story by Robert A. Heinlein about a visit to a tunnel on the surface of the moon which goes awry when a pressure seal fails, trapping two men. The title of the story derives from the novel way they find to plug a leak. The story is part of Heinlein's future History cycle, and can be found in The Past Through Tomorrow, which is a collection of most of the short fiction that falls in that cycle.
The phrase "Gentlemen, Be Seated!" is the opening line of the interlocutor in a traditional minstrel show.
