Sanhattan is the unofficial name given to an area of commerce in northeastern Santiago, Chile with many new and expensive buildings housing offices, restaurants and hotels. The area is located in the south bank of the Mapocho river and is shared mainly by the municipalities of Las Condes and Vitacura, and also partly by Providencia.
The name Sanhattan is a portmanteau of Santiago and Manhattan.
