Albrecht Otto Johannes Unsöld (April 20 1905 – September 23 1995) was a German astronomer.
He was a professor at the University of Kiel.
He won the Bruce Medal in 1956 and the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1957.
The asteroid 2842 Unsold is named after him.
