Mount Zion (Template:Lang-he transliteration: Har Tziyyon - "Height") is an archaic term that originally referred to a specific mountain near Jerusalem, on which stood a Jebusite fortress of the same name, that was conquered by David. The term became a synecdoche referring to the entire Jerusalem and the Land of Israel.

For the Biblical and historical use of the name, see Zion.
