Operation Vijay

In the 1999 Kargil Conflict between India and Pakistan, Operation Vijay (Victory in Hindi) was the name of the successful Indian operation to push back the infiltrators from the Kargil Sector.

Operation Vijay was also the name given to the invasion of Portuguese India in 1961.
