Image:Chlorpyrifos.png Chlorpyrifos is a toxic crystalline organophosphate insecticide (C9H11Cl3NO3PS) that inhibits acetylcholinesterase and is used to control insect pests. Trade names include Dursban, Empire, Eradex, Lorsban (Dow Chemical Company), and Stipend.
Its chemical name is O,O-diethyl O-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate.
Methyl-Chlorpyrifos is O,O-dimethyl O-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate
