In Greek mythology, Talaus was King of Argos and was one of the Argonauts. He was the son of Polybus and Tyro (or Bias and Pero). His wife is alternately said to be Lysimache, Eurynome or Lysianassa. He was father of Adrastus, and possibly of Aristomachus, Astynome, Eriphyle, Hippomedan, Mecistus, Metidice, Parthinopaeus and/or Pronax.
