Template:Cleanup-date Prehistoric portable art included small mobile pieces that could be carried from place to place, including animal figurines, weapons decorated with animals, and venus figurines. All of these art pieces reveal some level of symbol or religious artifice. They all depict the animals, most often game that was hunted for food, in naturalistic fashion in the same way as the animals in the cave paintings.Template:Art-stub
