Dates of Sessions
1825-1827
- The first session of this Congress took place in Washington, DC from December 5, 1825 to May 22, 1826.
- The second session took place in Washington, DC from December 4, 1826 to March 3, 1827.
In addition, the Senate was called into special session by outgoing President James Monroe for incoming President John Quincy Adams and met from March 4, 1825 to March 9, 1825.
