- Aelius Sejanus named co-Consul to the Emperor Tiberius. However, Tiberius becomes aware of Sejanus' treachery and has him arrested and executed.
- Naevius Sutorius Macro becomes the leader of the Praetorian Guard after Sejanus is executed.
- Tiberius returns to Rome from Capri.
