AVL

AVL can stand for any one of the following things:
- Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua (Valencian academy of the language)
- Asheville Regional Airport (IATA Airport Code)
- Automatic vehicle location
- AVL tree, a data structure.
- Automatic Volume Leveller. Minimises sudden changes in TV volume when commercial spots are transmitted.
- Automatic Volume Limiter Limits the volume of a device such as an MP3 or CD player.
- Approved Vendor List A list of approved companies that a company may purchase items from.
- Audio Visual Laboratories, a U.S. firm in the mid-1970's-1980's that produced equipment for use with multi-image/multi-media shows involving slide projectors, movie projectors and other special lighting and sound effects.
