Aleksei Yurievich Nemov (Russian: Алексей Юрьевич Немов; born May 28, 1976, Barashevo) is a famous gymnast from Russia. He is often called by many sports commentators and fans Sexy Aleksei. Ever the extrovert, he often poses and waves to crowds during competition. Nemov's sense of showmanship and his routines packed full of exciting skills have won him many fans.

He is the winner of several Olympic medals, including two gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and two more gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Nemov has won Olympic medals in every event except the rings, always his least favourite. However the major achievement of his career is the Olympic All Around title which he won in 2000 in Sydney. In doing this, he followed in the footsteps of such legends as Vitaly Scherbo and Nikolai Andrianov.

Aleksei was affected by the 2004 Athens Olympics irregular judging, which may have cost him a high bar medal. After a routine jam packed with difficult release and catch skills but with a hop on the landing, he was scored more than half a tenth below the leaders, who had stuck their landings but not shown equal difficulty. The booing of his score by the crowd led to the delay of competition and provided perhaps one of the greatest scandals of the Olympics. After a long protest the score was eventually raised but it was still not high enough to win a medal. This scandal was finally credited as the last straw after several judging controversies in the competition.ja:アレクセイ・ネモフ
