Amphibious

The word amphibious or amphibian, when used alone, has several possible meanings in the English language.
When used by itself it can refer to:
- A vertebrate animal of the Class Amphibia.
- An amphibian vehicle, i.e. a vehicle capable of being driven on both land and water.
- A type of seaplane capable of being operated from either land or water.
- Amphibious warfare
- Having a mixed or twofold nature, such as an employee who is equally comfortable working with technical staff or business-minded management.
