Appendix can mean: ap·pen·dix (ə-pěn'dǐks) n. pl. ap·pen·dix·es or ap·pen·di·ces (-dǐ-sēz')

  • In Book design - a reference section at the end of a book.
  • In Anatomy - a section at the end of an organ; in particular the Vermiform appendix, a part of the human digestive system of disputed function.
