Asse is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Asse proper, Bekkerzeel, Kobbegem, Mollem, Relegem and Zellik. On January 1 2005 Asse had a total population of 28,838. The total area is 49.64 km² which gives a population density of 580.95 inhabitants per km².
