Azalea State Reserve

Azalea State Reserve is a 30 acre (120,000 m²) reserve for western azalea (Rhododendron occidentale) located in Humboldt County, California. Each spring, a profusion of pink and white blossoms scents the air. The reserve offers a short self-guided nature trail with emphasis on other plants of the north coast area. There is a picnic area available. The azaleas bloom in April and May.
Other adjacent visitor attractions include Trinidad State Beach, Patrick’s Point S.P., and Ft. Humboldt S.H.P.
