Bases Loaded II: Second Season is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1988. It is the sequel to Bases Loaded (video game) and is continued by
Bases Loaded 3. The game uses a special biorythym system to determine which players will play up to their full potential and which players will not play up to their full potential game-by-game.
2 game modes were available, the exhibition 2 player mode and the 1 player season mode. Through the season mode you can choose from 12 fictional teams splitted in the East and West leagues. The objective is win 75 games of a maxium of 130 games. After winning the 75th game you are taken to the pennant mode in which you must win 4 of 7 games. If you reach the penant (called World SEries in the Game) with an East team you will play against L.A. and if you reached that stage with a West league team you will play against N.Y. Interesting to mention is the format of the series unlike the traditional 2-3-2 you play a 3-3-1 format and always is home-away-home.
