Bellwald

Bellwald is a village in Switzerland, canton of Wallis at 1600 m above sea level at Template:Coor dm with a population of 450. It is the highest village in Goms, or the upper Rhône River valley. The village lies extremely sunny exposed on the slopes of the mount Risihorn. In the winter season, it is a very pleasant small scale skiing resort. During summertime, it is a place to walk. All year round the panorama on the Alps is astonishing.
Farming is declining, tourism is taking its place.
