Bones Brigade
From Free net encyclopedia
Bones Brigade is a highly successful skateboarding team that rode under the Powell Peralta and later Powell banner. The team was created in 1979 by Stacy Peralta who picked most of the riders. They were very successful in competitions around that time. Some of the members of the team were very original, and helped shape skateboarding with their innovative tricks.
Powell Peralta started to produce videos in 1984. Although not the first to make videos, those made by the Bones Brigade were a class above what the other companies were making at the time. These videos had a profound effect on the development of skateboarding over the next decade. To date, there have been 14 videos produced.
