Boston Braves

The name Boston Braves can refer to any of the following historic American professional sports teams:
- The Boston Braves, founded in 1871, in the National League of Major League Baseball. In 1953 they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to become the Milwaukee Braves. In 1966 they moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where they now play as the Atlanta Braves.
- The Boston Braves, founded in 1932, in the National Football League. George Preston Marshall was awarded the franchise, and in 1933 he changed the name of the team to the Boston Redskins. In 1937 they moved to Washington, DC, where they now play as the Washington Redskins.
- Also, an American Hockey League team went by the name Boston Braves. They existed from 1971 to 1974.
