Broek in Waterland (Template:Coor dm) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies about 8 km south of Purmerend and 8km northeast of Amsterdam. In the 17th and 18th century, the town was a popular residence for merchants and seafarers from Amsterdam.

In 2001, the town of Broek in Waterland had 1656 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.34 km2, and contained 704 residences.<ref name="CBS">Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Bevolkingskernen in Nederland 2001 [1].
