Burning Empires

Burning Empires is an EP from VNV Nation. It contains the "Standing" single, plus remixes and alternate versions of their popular album Empires. It is a limited edition release, strictly limited to 4000 copies. Because of its rarity, it is one of the most sought-after items for VNV Nation fans. Sellers of the album commonly ask for well over $100 for a used copy of Burning Empires, and more for a new copy.

"Further" was the only entirely new track on Burning Empires. The others were remixes of tracks from VNV Nation's previous works, Empires and Advance and Follow; "Lastlight" was a remix combining "Firstlight" and "Arclight" from Empires.
