Bedtime hour

Between 6pm and 7pm, CBeebies has a bedtime hour to help prepare children for bed. The programs are calm, often involving stories, such as 64 Zoo Lane, Step Inside, The Story Makers and The Roly Mo Show. It also features a celebrity reading a bedtime story at the end.

Since January 2006, the bedtime hour opens with the five presenters singing the "'Bye 'bye Sun, Hello Moon" lullaby, and closes with them singing the "The Time Has Come to Say Goodnight" lullaby.

Eva replaced previous presenter Nicole Davies in February 2006, although Nicole still appears singing the bedtime songs, as these take the form of pre-recorded clips which are used every day.

Almost all the CBeebies presenters have appeared in children's programmes prior to presenting CBeebies — for instance, Pui Fan Lee originally played the Teletubbies character Po, and Sue Monroe voiced Tiggs in The Shiny Show.
