Canindeyú is a department in Paraguay. The capital is the city of Salto del Guairá.

The department is divided in 10 districts:

  1. Corpus Christi
  2. General Francisco Caballero Alvarez (Puente Kyhá)
  3. Itanará
  4. Katueté
  5. La Paloma
  6. Nueva Esperanza
  7. Salto del Guairá
  8. Villa San Isidro Curuguaty
  9. Villa Ygatimí
  10. Ypejhū

The eastern part of Canindeyu is very green; mostly rolling hills and soy bean farms. A fair portion of the population consists of Brazilian imigrants.
