Chekhov (Template:Lang-ru) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia.
Before 1954, it was named Lopasnya (Template:Lang).
Population: 72,917 ((2002 Census)), 56,000 (1985).
Fifteen kilometers away from Chekhov, in the village of Melikhovo, there is a museum of Anton Chekhov.
On the outskirts of Chekhov lies the Davidov Hermitage, reputedly the richest monastery in Russia. It contains many churches from the 17th and 18th centuries.hr:Čehov, Moskovska oblast ko:체호프 (모스크바 주) ru:Чехов (Московская область)
