Claude-Louis Navier

Claude-Louis Navier (February 10, 1785 - August 21, 1836) born Claude Louis Marie Henri Navier, was a French engineer and physicist. He was born in Dijon, and died in Paris.

The Navier-Stokes equations are named after him and George Gabriel Stokes.
