CloneCD

CloneCD is a proprietary optical disc authoring software that makes copies of music and data CDs regardless of any copy protection measures. It was originally offered by the company Elaborate Bytes. Since this was a Swiss site they were forced to take it off the market due to recent European Copyright Laws. The software is now being sold by a company called SlySoft who reside in Antigua which does not currently support the DMCA.
It removes game copying protection, allowing you to copy protected games. The program has CD burning built-in, not requiring any other program, unlike Anydvd.
Perhaps it is a mark of this software's popularity and effectiveness in defeating copy prevention schemes that versions of it are blacklisted by certain software manufacturers. The file type generally used by this application has the extention .ccd.
