Transportation
Como is linked with other major cities of Lombardy by trains of the Servizio Ferroviario Regionale (R lines). The service is brought by Trenitalia and Ferrovie Nord Milano with two main stations: Como S. Giovanni (Trenitalia) and Como Lago (Ferrovie Nord Milano). Also there's one more urban station served by Trenitalia (Albate) and three more urban stations served by Ferrovie Nord Milano (Como Borghi-Università, Como Camerlata and Grandate Breccia).
Nearest airports are Milano Malpensa and Lugano Agno. Milano Malpensa is reachable both by buses (C250, cheaper but less frequent) and by trains (Ferrovie Nord Milano interchange in Saronno, more expensive). Anyway the journey takes about 1 hour.
