Conservation ecology

From Free net encyclopedia

Image:Amazon Rainforest.jpg The term Conservation ecology covers a very wide range of subjects, basically, any part of ecology that has a bearing on conservation. The terms Ecology and Conservation are frequently used interchangeably, but, although ecologists are frequently also conservationists, this does not necessarily have to be the case.

Much of conservation ecology deals with the problems associated with the small population sizes of rare species.
