Convergence and Unity (Convergència i Unió, CiU) is a political party in Catalonia, Spain.

It is a poltical federation consisting of Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya and Unió Democràtica de Catalunya. It is seen as a conservative nationalist party, which generally supports free_market economic policy.

The party has 10 seats in the Spanish federal-level Congress of Deputies.

It was led by Jordi Pujol until the November 2003 Catalan elections. The current leader is Artur Mas. The party supported changes to the Catalonian Statute of Autonomy increase Catalonia's autonomy.
