Converting Vegetarians
From Free net encyclopedia
Template:Album infobox Converting Vegetarians is a two-disc set album by the Israeli Psychedelic trance duo Infected Mushroom. The album was released by BNE/Yoyo Records in 2003 (see 2003 in music). The first disc consists of, more or less, Goa/Psy Trance, hence 'Trance Side', while the second disc is more experimental and eclectic, featuring, among others, synth pop and hip hop influences.
Although widely successful in terms of sales and a strongly positive response from their fanbase, the album has also been criticized for its 'message' of disuading the hippie ideals on which the psytrance scene was founded in favour of a more practical, hedonistic way of life.
