Cromwell is a city located in Carlton County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 143.

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there were 143 people, 65 households, and 39 families residing in the city. The population density was 30.3/km² (78.7/mi²). There were 94 housing units at an average density of 19.9/km² (51.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.20% White, 0.00% African American, 0.70% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 2.10% from two or more races. 0.70% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 65 households out of which 21.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.3% were married couples living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.5% were non-families. 35.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.20 and the average family size was 2.88.
In the city the population was spread out with 22.4% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 25.2% from 45 to 64, and 22.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 113.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 109.4 males.
