David Settle Reid (19 April 1813 - 19 June 1891) was the Democratic governor of the U.S. state of North Carolina from 1851 to 1854. Reid later served as a U.S. Senator from 1854 to 1859, and was a U.S. Representative from 1843 to 1845.
