Deep Cover
From Free net encyclopedia
Deep Cover is a 1992 thriller film starring Laurence Fishburne and Jeff Goldblum and directed by Bill Duke. The film is most notable for its use of computer-generated digital effects, which was unheard-of at the time. Many of these effects became the basis for effects in the Matrix films released in 1998. It has a movie theme with the same name composed by Dr. Dre and a then relatively unknown Snoop Dogg who uttered his trademark phrase, for the first time, in the song's chorus: "187 on a undercover cop."
