Dom Irrera, originally from Philadelphia, is a stand-up comedian. Some observers feel he has one of the most natural styles in all of stand-up comedy: much of his material is in the form of stories about his life, especially his childhood years and growing up in an Italian-American family, which contributes to the "natural" feel of his performances.
Irrera has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and The Late Show with David Letterman, and has made numerous cameo appearances on hit TV shows. He was named number 79 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 greatest standups of all time and in 2005 was listed as one of the ten funniest people in Los Angeles.
