Doug Naylor

Doug Naylor is a British comedy writer who was born in Manchester, England. With Rob Grant he worked on Spitting Image, Red Dwarf, and The 10 Percenters. His collaborations with Grant have used the pseudonym: Grant Naylor.
After the sixth series of Red Dwarf, Rob Grant left Naylor to write Red Dwarf on his own. Naylor has since written the seventh and eighth series of the show, mostly on his own, but some episodes were co-written with such writers as Paul Alexander and Kim Fuller. He is to be the writer of the upcoming film version of Red Dwarf.
Right now, Naylor and Grant Naylor Productions are primarily focused on the production of the Red Dwarf movie and the Red Dwarf DVDs.
