From Free net encyclopedia

Template:Wesnothunit In role-playing games, a druid is a character that uses nature-based magical abilities (Divine Spellcaster). They generally have goals involving protecting nature from undue civilized intrusion. The specific abilities of druids depend on the specific game system, but most contain the components of healing, talking to animals, and transforming themselves into animal shapes.

In Fire Emblem a druid uses dark, or elder, magic. They are the upgraded form of a shaman class unit. In Fire Emblem a special type of druid called a dark druid appears as the second-to-last boss. He is capable of using light, dark, anima (nature) magic as well as staves.

Other computer games that use druid character classes include: Dark Age of Camelot, Diablo II, EverQuest, Neverwinter Nights and Tibia.

The Druid in Dungeons and Dragons
