For the Douro (the Portuguese spelling / pronuciation for the river), see Douro.

The river Duero (or Douro as it's called in Portugal) crosses the Iberian Peninsula in the north of Spain & Portugal. The total length of the river is 897 km. The river forms part of the national border line between Spain & Portugal but only changes name from Duero to Douro at Vega de Terron as it finally crosses completely into Portugal.
