Effort force
From Free net encyclopedia
In physics, effort force is the force used to move an object over a distance.
Effort force is a component in the following equation,
- R × DR = E × DE
where
- R is the resistance force
- DR is the resistance distance
- E is the effort force
- DE is the effort distance.
Effort force is also a component in the following equation,
- Work input = E × DE
where
- E is the effort force
- DE is the effort distance.
Effort force, like most other forces, is measured in newtons or the pound-force.
