Engineers Without Borders

There are organizations in several countries that have the name Engineers Without Borders. Each is a non-governmental organization involved in international development work. They are not formally affiliated with each other, although some of them have together created an international network, to unite their actions. However these organizations rarely collaborate, as each of them act independently. As most of their development projects are generally small scale grass-roots partnerships, this reduces the red tape and various bureaucratic overhead costs associated with large organisations.
