Flavigny-sur-Ozerain

Flavigny-sur-Ozerain is a small village and commune on a hilltop in the Côte-d'Or département, Burgundy région, in France.
Flavigny is reputed for its aniseed candy (anis de Flavigny). The movie Chocolat was shot in Flavigny.
It has a seminary of the Society of St. Pius X, a traditionalist branch of the Catholic Church, the Séminaire International Saint Curé d'Ars.
This village also has a Benedictine abbey. The monks today occupy a site near to the site of a Benedictine abbey from the early Middle Ages to the Revolution. The monks returned in the 1970s.
