Flurry is an OpenGL-based screensaver originally written by Brian Wade (for the PC) and converted to the Mac by Calum Robinson, released under the BSD License for Mac OS X. It draws a complex 'flurry' of colourful particles on a black background. Mac OS X v10.2 was the first Mac OS to include a limited-function version of Flurry. Previously, it was available as a third-party screensaver. The original, more customizable Flurry can be found on the author's website.

There are two Windows ports (not including the original version) and one Linux port available. The Linux port is available with the XScreenSaver program.
