Friends Provident plc manages a life assurance business in the United Kingdom and has been in operation since 1832. The Company was founded in Bradford by Quakers to provide life assurance for their members. They currently operate through two main divisions, Life and Pensions and Asset Management. The Group's Life and Pension group provides health plans, life assurance and pension plans. The Asset management business is run by ISIS Asset Management plc.

The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 100 Index.

Their Head Office's are situated in Dorking, Surrey.
