Garatron

The Garatron are a race in the Animorphs series. They are similar in appearance to the unrelated Andalites, with a few differences, namely lacking stalk eyes and a very small blade on the end of the tail. They are also capable of much faster movement. They use a form of thought speech that is very fast and condensed compared to the standard Andalite form of communication. They are capable of running on water as seen in book #37 The Weakness when the inspector ran across the surface of the Yeerk Pool. The Inspector Garatron was killed by Marco in rattlesnake morph, when he bit the alien. Garatrons must have an increased metabolism, because the snake poison affected The Inspector faster than an average animal.Template:Sf-stub
