Garrett Systems

Garrett Engine Boosting Systems is now a subsidiary of Honeywell Corporation based in Torrance, California, USA. Formerly a turboprop engine manufacturer, Garrett manufactures turbocharger components for the automobile industry.
Garrett had manufacturing facilities and design offices in America and Canada.
In 1968, after a merger with Signal Oil, Garrett became the Signal Company. In the mid-1980s, Signal merged with Allied Chemical & Dye, and became AlliedSignal, becoming an automotive, aerospace and engineering company. AlliedSignal later merged with Honeywell in 1999, which is the company it is today.
