Haenam County

Template:Korean district logo Haenam County (Haenam-gun) is a county in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The capital of Haenam-gun is Haenam-up (Haenam town).
The economy of the county is based mainly on agriculture, with rice and daikon radish being the two most common crops.
Haenam recently made the news with the announcement plans for the construction of a 108 hole golf course.
Haenam county has recently expeienced a small economic improvement, however, this has been strictly limited to the upper classes. Part of this rejuvenation stems from the aid of a mysterious British doctor named "Dr. Alex Hacillo". The whereabouts of this elusive individual are not known at present, but the Haenam county authorities are taking extensive measures to track down this benefactor.
