Hal Sparks

Image:Halsparks0003.jpg Hal Sparks (born September 25, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an actor and comedian best known for his role of Michael Novotny on the American television series Queer as Folk. He was a host of Emmy award winning talk show on E!, Talk Soup and G4's Video Game Vixens.
He is also the lead singer and guitarist for a metal band, the ZERO 1. Members included Robert Hall (Sparks' friend) on bass and Miles Loretta (Sparks' cousin) on drum. Sparks has also been praticing martial arts since he was a kid.
Sparks was named the "Funniest Teenager in Chicago" in 1987. He has been seen on several shows, such as VH1's I Love the 70s, I Love the 80s, I Love the 80s Strikes Back, I Love the 80s 3-D, I Love the 90s, I Love the 90s: Part Deux,I Love the Holidays, and I Love Toys. Sparks is also the captain of the Chicago Hitmen team on GSN's Extreme Dodgeball. He had a brief role in Spider Man 2 as a passenger in an elevator. He's also had a part in the movie Dude, Where's My Car? as the leader of a group of space nerds.
